July 31 Compassionate Living...July 18 Back from Oregon Country Fair...I just returned from 5 days at the Oregon Country Fair. Such a wonderful, magical, counter culture Arts event!! Many thanks to my customers and friends who helped to make the Fair memorable once again. I see new and interesting things at the Fair every year, and this year was no exception. I always enjoy watching the fire dancers after dark. This year along with many other devices, they had long chains that were dipped in fuel, and as they danced with them, a wide ribbon of blue flame made trails in the night sky. Very psychedelic!!
The site where the Fair is held has been designated an Archeologically find. This sacred place was used by the native people as a gathering spot every summer for more than 800 years.
The best thing about the Fair is the kindness and comraderie passed among the Fair Family and attendees. Respect for the land and the people is what makes this a special annual event. XXX OOO
